DreamTech understands that while a homeowner enjoys their outdoor views and the luscious sunlight drenching each room, they cringe at costly cooling bills. For this reason, DreamTech Homes provides double paned, insulated windows as apart of our standard package. The uses of high-efficiency windows are three to four times more efficient than windows commonly installed 10 years ago. In addition, it can help to muffle some sounds for a quieter environment.
DreamTech Homes is proud to include 14-Seer Air Conditioning Units, which work to cool your home efficiently even on the hottest of summer days. Superior craftsmanship and quality materials ensure years of dependable and economical operation.
We apply foam insulation around windows and doors. In addition, we caulk around the electrical outlets and boxes. The air infiltration is almost zero. The foam also stops moisture from seeping in, which in turn can help prevent mold growth.
American homes, on average, lose 28 to 47 percent of the home's heated and cooled air through leaks in the duct work. The ducts in a DreamTech home lost 1.2 percent to 3.2 percent of the conditioned air during recent tests.
We use energy-efficient insulation and windows. The walls of have foam insulation rated with an R-21 value while the ceiling insulation will have an R-30 value. Many builders use fiberglass insulation with a value of R-13. While our insulation costs more, it has allowed us to reduce the size of heating and cooling system and save money.
We also provide energy-efficient appliances. Tankless hot- water heaters, dishwashers and A/C units are labeled as ENERGY STAR products. These appliances meet energy and environmental standards and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
We don't force your air conditioner to overwork itself due to a super-heated attic space. DreamTech Homes uses FOILED-COVERED panels in the roof, in addition to the roof decking. These foil-covered panels repel the sun's rays and reduce attic temperatures as much as 30 degrees.
In addition to the use of FOILED-COVERED ROOF DECKING, we also use TechShield, a double-sided, foil sheathing, on the remaining exterior walls of the home. This is certainly not your basic blue board Styrofoam sheathing. This product deploys heat away from your home, helping to reduce energy bills. (lpcorp.com)
In the years to come, more and more buyers will demand green-built homes. DreamTech does not want to build a product that's going to be obsolete within five years.
